Richard Naisbitt    Optometrist/Director:  Richard studied optometry at Bradford University gaining a first class Honours degree in 1997. He completed his pre-registration training at Querido & Partners, and C4 Sightcare, winning the Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers prize for best examination results in the professional qualifying examinations 1998.  After qualification, Richard continued to work in hospital and independant practice. He established RJ Naisbitt Optometry, an independant practice in South Hetton, Durham in 2000. In 2004 Richard joined JW Grundy at Coxhoe on a part time basis. After Mr Grundy’s retirement in March 2011 Richard took over at Coxhoe and now works between the South Hetton and Coxhoe practices.  Richard  has a passion for ethical eyecare and personal service. Richard is registered with the General Optical Council and Durham Primary Care Trust. He is a member of the College of Optometrists and Assocation of Optometrists.

Ann Robson    Receptionist/dispensing assistant.  Ann has worked at our Coxhoe practice for over 30 years. Her friendly and professional manner has endeared her to many of our patients. She has a wealth of experience in frame selection and is committed to providing first class service.

Denise Purvis     Receptionist/dispensing assistant.  Denise joined our practice in 2004. She is experienced in frame selection and adjustments. Her friendly manner assures you of a warm welcome.
